Hilarious

This was my third special which was shot in Milwaukee at the Pabst center in 2009 and it was the first time I directed my own special. Some of the cameras were on stage with me. I wanted it to feel like more of a first person experience.

Hilarious is my longest special at 90 minutes. It premiered at the Sundance Film festival, the first standup performance film to show there.

The audio version of Hilarious won a Grammy for best comedy album.
